1. QUALIFICATION AND COMPANY INFORMATION

 

What are your qualifications?

We are trained and certified by the New York Institute of Photography, the Writers Institute of Creative Writing and Journalism, Associate Photographers International, the Newspaper Institute of America, Consult Bahamas Training Center and the College of the Bahamas. All of our employees are certified trained specialist in the fields of service that we offer.  We are constantly training and updating our knowledge to keep abreast with the latest information, technology and services in our fields of service.

 

What is multi media?

A combination of text and media, as film, tape recordings, slides, and special lighting effects, used for entertainment or education.  The process of data, pictures, sound and video to compact disc or magnetic tape, electronic mediums, radio, television, computer, internet, printing material or stage.

 

What are the various general departments of your company?

The general departments of our company are: the technical and administration teams: The technical departments include: Photography, Studio and Printing, Videography and Editing, Digital Imaging and Image designs, Webmaster and Hosting Service.   The administration departments are: the Business office, Customer Service and Support, Consultancy, Advertising, Projects and Presentation Management.

 

 

How long have you been doing this kind of work?

Our companies have been active in the computerization of multimedia service for the pass 8 years.  For the pass 16 years we have been active in every area of photography and video production.

 

How many other staff do you have?

We employ 6 full time professional specialists in the area of multimedia which excludes our administration, support, sales and marketing staff.  There is more than 20 trained freelance staff trained in every area of service ready to serve at any time.

 

Do you offer consultants, training or seminars in any area of your services?

Our studio has trained dozens of individuals who are still active in the fields of services in various companies. We have also offered consultancy in our fields of service to major hotels and companies and have been providing this service for more than 10 years.  We are always available to host or to participation in seminar local and abroad.

2. PAYMENT & GUARANTEES

 

What is your deposit?

Our deposit is 50% of the service charge on all bookings by cash, check or credit card unless other wise specified. The remaining balance is to be collected before the day of the event, unless otherwise specified.

 

What does the deposit cover?

The initial deposit reserves the booking date and once the booking is made the date and time is purchased by the booking deposit. The final deposit is the payment for service render.

 

Do you refund deposits or down payment?

100% of the down payment to reserve the date of affair is non-refundable is non refundable. If the event is paid for in full then 50% of the amount is refunded if the booking is cancelled in advance and within one month of the event.

 

Do you honor cancellations?

Yes we honor cancellations, however the deposit to reserve the date of event is non-refundable unless in the event of death. However the deposit can be credited to a postponed date or used as credit towards another area of our service.

 

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept master card and visa card.

 

Is there a charge for extras or an overtime cost?

There is a charge for overtime, extra service, items or location and the cost various.  The extra and overtime is applied wherever the time expires or the where the items of the package increases or is added.

 

If you can not attend or service our event do you have a backup plan?

Other then natural causes or catastrophic events there is never a reason for us to fail to keep an appointment. Once we have booked an event there is a definite guarantee that we will be there to service that event.

 

What are your regular work hours and do you make appointments?

Our regular working hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6PM.  All other days and times by appointment only.

 

Do you come to locations to make presentations?

Our promotion and sales director or representatives are available to present all areas of service that we offer to you by appointment wherever you choose.

 

Do you accept checks?

We accept personal and company bank certified checks, international money order, postal money order deposited to our account within fourteen working days before the date of the event or before the result of our work is completed or delivered.

 

Do you give receipts?

Yes we give receipts or may send a receipt by email.

 

Do we sign a contract?

Yes we prefer to sign an agreement with our clients and will do so even if the client has completed the payment in advance of the event.

 

What is my guarantee?

Our clients are always guaranteed excellent service, the best quality result and professional support, product and service satisfaction and the highest standard of discipline and attitude of our employees.

 

Can I upgrade or downgrade my package?

In the even where the full amount of the package is paid in advance, downgrade is not accepted, however upgrading the package is welcome.

3. OUT OF TOWN EVENTS

 

Do you travel out of town to work?

We travel out of town at the expense of the client. Expenses are structured in the out of town rate which includes airfare, transportation, hotel and food and security where possible and necessary.

 

What is your fee for traveling out of town and what does it includes

The fee and rate depends on a number of factors such as nature of the assignment and place of the event, assistant or helpers.

 

Does this fee include an assistant and how much does it include?

The out of town rates structured will include assistant where it is necessary including travel accommodations and security equally to that of the producer.

 

Do you dine at our expenses?

According to the conditions, arrangement and the nature of the event and agreements of the contract.  For example if it is an all day event and dining is present and if we are permitted to dine we will be oblige to dine with you.

4. WEDDINGS

 

Do you do local or Bahamian weddings?

We specialize in local Bahamian weddings and have been doing so for the pass 17 years.

 

Do you do tourist weddings?

We specialize in tourist wedding and have been doing so for the pass 14 years

 

Do you use film or digital cameras?

Currently we have fully converted our service and equipment to digital and will only resort to film upon request.

 

How many persons in my bridal party does my package cover?

There are many packages to choose from, you can review the packages and choose which package is best suited for your needs, or we can customize a package for you.

 

If we get you to video our wedding, can you put in video of a location in The Bahamas (e.g. Atlantis), even though the ceremony won't be held there and we are not staying there?
Yes we can use clips of locations in Nassau and some other islands that are available in your video as you choose.

 

Can we have the same music you used on the sample video?

Yes we will be glad to use the same music if you like.
 

Do you charge extra for large bridal parties?

This depends on the package arrangement; once the package is booked you can either upgrade or pay additional of each pair or couple added to your party.

 

How much is your cost for each additional couple or person?

The price is usually 5% of the package price for each couple, however the rate varies and prices are subject to change without notice.

 

What does this extra charge includes?

The extra charge includes standard coverage which includes an additional couple to be photographed along with the rest of the bridal party and may also include a few additional prints to package amount.

  4.1 STAFF PRESENT

 

Who will videograph my wedding?

The photographer and videographers work in pairs and either one may be producer or assistant, so either the producer or the assistant will videograph the session.

 

How many assistants will be present at my wedding?

There may be as little as one assistant and as many as four assistants at times, it depends and a final figure is given according to the agreement.

 

Do you work along with other videographers or photographers?

Our studio is equipped with both areas of service and we prefer to offer both service for better synchronization of team work.  However, if it is necessary we are always willing to work in association or in alliance with other producers.

    4.2 DRESSING

 

What time will you start at my wedding?

Usually it is about one and a half hours before the wedding ceremony.  The amount of time depends on the package.

 

When do you leave the dressing for the ceremony?

Our intention is to arrive at the place of service half an hour before the bridal party in order to setup and photograph the groom and the groomsmen, etc.

 

How much space do you need?

As much space as possible is preferable and the room or rooms should always be cleared of unnecessary items or persons not apart of the story.

  

Do you work along with the wedding coordinator?

Yes we always prefer to work along with the wedding coordinator in order to preserve the moment and result desired.

 

How much time do you need to photograph at the dressing?

According to the size of the bridal party and the program of the event one hour is adequate.  However the time may vary according to schedule and conditions, for example if the make-up artist or hair stylist fail to arrive within the schedule this may reduce the session time or may even result in canceling the session of the dressing.  However this decision depends on the package time and the bride or the coordinator determines the factor.

    4.3 CEREMONY

 

What time will you arrive at the ceremony?

Within 45 - 30 minutes before the ceremony or service begins or immediately following the photo session at the dressing.

 

Do you take photos of the audience and the parents being seated and seated?

Yes, however the amount of such shots depends on the package and the amount of prints.

 

Do you take a photo of the march up of each couple of the bridal party?

Yes, a shot of each couple is taken as they march up together.

 

Do you direct the ceremony?

This depends on the minister and the coordinator, if it is allowed we do where it is necessary.

 

Are you allowed to work in restricted areas at the ceremony?

It depends if it is outdoors or indoors, whether it is a church or private home.  In some denomination of churches only the minister, the bride and groom are allowed in restricted or secret areas of the podium or platform, usually the producers are restricted from entering certain areas and only do so when allowed by the minister.

 

Do you interrupt or ask for time out to get the right shot?

This depends on the environment and the teamwork of the all persons involved in the service including the minister.  If the bride or the groom shifts away from the view of the camera lens and if it is impossible or difficult to move and the producer feels it is necessary to record the angle then he may deliberately and politely interrupt. 

 

The ceremony will be short and to the point. Can you do this?
Yes, most tourist wedding are short and to the point, the end result of
your video will be between 20 and 30 minutes depending on whether you are willing to pose for the camera for the entire time that you have booked
us for.

  4.4 GARDEN

 

Do you work with a photo list and can we submit photo list in advance?

No, we do not make it a practice to work with a photo list as it result in time and delay the order of the session in the manner in which it is most practical to assemble the part for the party shoot.

 

Do you video record while taking photographs in the garden?

It depends on the package and most package request is without video recording while at the garden.

 

Do you take a photo of each couple and of each individual of the bridal party at the garden?

It depends of the package, but this feature can be a last minute add-on at additional cost if not already in the package.

 

Will you photograph individuals attending the garden session upon request?

We can do this upon request at additional cost added to the balance of the current account.

   4.5 RECEPTION

 

Do you make photographs of the entrance of the bridal party?

Yes as each couple enter the hall or the area they are photographed together.

 

Do you make photos of the head table before seated?

Yes, unless the program does not require the bridal party to stand together before seating, otherwise the head table is photographed while seated.

 

 

Do you make photographs of the audience tables?

Yes, depending on the photo package and the amount of prints in the package. Packages where there are less prints two prints are made showing the audience seated to the left and the other to the right of the hall.  If the package permits then each table is photographed individually.

    4.6 PRE-WEDDING SESSION

 

Do you produce pre-wedding photographs or video?

Yes, either included in the package or at additional cost?

 

Do I choose the location for the pre-wedding session and how many locations is allowed?

The location is always up to you, the amount of location depends on the package or the arrangement.

 

Do I book in advance and how many sessions do we book?

Yes, always book in advance and each location is a session, if one location is chosen then one session.

 

Will the print or the clips from the session be included in final package?

Yes the print will be inserted into the proof album and the video clips will be edited into the video.

 

What is the maximum time for the time session?

The maximum time depends on the package or the arrangement, but usually the one hour is adequate.

5. STUDIO SESSION

 

How much time is each studio session?

There are several packages and the package may very.

 

Do you have a hair and makeup person?

On a freelance basis and can be provided at additional cost.

 

How many backgrounds can I choose from?

We offer a variety of backdrops and depending on the package and the arrangement as many as 5 backdrops maybe included in the photo session.

 

Are the backdrops computer generated, virtual, physical backgrounds?

There are a variety of backdrop options at the moment we offer physical and computer generated backdrops.

6. PRINTS & FORMAT

 

Do you give proofs?

We serve only the best quality prints, therefore our proofs and the final prints.

 

What size are the proofs and what format do you give?

There is a range of print sixes 31/2 x 5, 4x51/2 and 4x6 film or digital format.

 

How long will it take to get the results or proofs?

Depending on the event, studio prints are within a week, local weddings within 2 to 6 weeks, tourist wedding within 1 to 4 days, other event may vary.

  

When do I put in for the enlargements?

The entrance time for the enlargements is 6 to 12 months.

 

Do you print Black & White, Sepia Effect prints?

Yes, we can produce Black & White, Sepia Effect, Duotone Effect and mixed Color with Black & White or Sepia effect prints by request at an additional cost.

7. VIDEO FORMAT

 

Do you Do NTSC and PAL?

Yes we record in NTSC or PAL.

 

What format will you record my video in?

The standard format is NTSC (Western standard), by request we can record the video to PAL (Eastern standard).

 

Do you record to DVD-RAM or CD-RAM?
We record only to DVD or CD. CD-RAM or DVD-RAM is a CD or DVD disk in a casing.
Our format is either CD, SVCD or DVD neither of these disk is in a casing. All of our disks will play both from computer or your home entertainment system.

 

 

What material format will you use will it be DVD, VCD, SVCD, DV or VHS format?

According to your request or package we will record to DVD, VCD, SVCD, DV or VHS format.

8. CHRISTENING

 

Are you open on Sundays for christening?

Our regular working hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6PM.  All other days and times by appointments only.

 

Do you book in advance for christening?

Yes, we do christening only by bookings in advance and in deposit only.

 

What is the deposit?

The deposit is 50% of the package and the balance is paid on the day of the session.

   

What are the rules and conditions of your packages?

Our packages are designed and are based on the amount prints required as well as the amount of persons in the party.

 

Is there extra charge for additional person to the group?

You can either choose a package that is based on the size of your group or the amount of prints desired or both; otherwise additions will be extra cost.

 

Do I wait in line or the time that I book reserves the time for me?

Once the booking time is made it is reserved and you are served precisely at the time reserved for you.  If for some reason you are detained or late and another appointment is scheduled and is on time then our only other option is for you to wait patiently inline.

 

What do you suggest in regards to my child so that I assure the best photos?

This event is to capture the most delightful moment of the child it is best if all individuals involved in the event schedule themselves accordingly so that the child is at its best moment.  Usually the child is awake and fed to early, this makes it difficult to capture the child at its best.  Our suggestion is to work with the child the night or the day before so that it is well fed and is totally awake for the photo session.

 

What assistance do you required in working with the child?

Usually the parents are present in the studio along with the photographer making it possible for the best photo.

 

Do you make photos of each god-parent with the child?

Yes, each god-parent is photographed with the child.

 

Do you make a family portrait of the baby if other family members are present?

Yes, if other members of the family are present and if the appointment is on schedule then without additional cost we also take this moment to create at least one snap shot of the baby and family members.

 

When do we collect the proofs?

The proofs are ready within a week.

9. GRADUATION

 

Do you book graduation photo packages and do you come to location, what is the cost?

We book only in advance travel to whatever location, there is usually one photo session per school at no additional cost other the price of the package of each student. Additional sessions result in additional cost by the hour and time period (example daytime or evenings).

 

How much time do you require for the photo session?

It take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to photograph each student, the amount of time is calculated based on the amount of students.

 

Do you have or supply caps, gowns, rings, etc?

We are associated with vendors who supply us according to our need.  We will be happy to supply the graduation class with the accessories necessary for the graduation program.

 

Do you photograph and video record proms or the location celebration?

Yes, we photograph and videograph prom but only booked in advance by deposit.

 

Do you produce material for the school year book?

Yes our marketing and sales department would be happy to work with your school to produce material for your school year book.

10. GLAMOUR & FASHION

 

What are your policies for glamour & fashion session?

That each model sign a model release for so that material that we produced are also accessible by our studio for advertising and promotions.

 

How does the model release benefit the model?

The model has the option of lower price, additional sessions, prints etc.

 

What areas do you cover?

We cover all areas of glamour and fashion.

 

Do you make composite?

Yes we produce composite, portfolios or any form of presentation including video and websites.

Yes, there is constant communication, usually not distracting to the meeting or interfering with the photographing, audio or video recording of the event.

14. WEB SERVICE

 

Do you have registered domain names for sale?

At the moment we do not carry registered domain names for sale, if the name is available we will be happy to register the domain name of your choice.

 

Do you design websites?

Yes, we have great expertise in web design and web building. We also offer website management and maintenance services.

 

Do you register domains?

Yes, we register domains of your choice including .com, .net, .org, .bs and others.

 

How much megabytes of space can I rent?

Our website packages provide a wide range of available web-space from 12MB to over 1 GB.

 

Can you host and manage my website?

Yes, we provide website management and maintenance services and also special deals with world-class hosting services.  

 

 

Do you operate as a server?

No, we do not currently provide server space but we do register your site for hosting with other servers (at special low rates). At the moment we are working at developing this service and it will be available in the future.

 

Do you use the space of other servers?

Yes, we have special arrangements with world-class servers and we will complete the registration process for you and also provide maintenance service.

 

How much bandwidth do you allow per month?

The amount of bandwidth depends on the package and is usually between 1 and 10 GB per month.

 

Can I update my site and how often can I do so?

Yes your site is updatable and depending on the package it can be updated at lease once a day and the effects are available the following day.

 

Can I manage my own account when I decide?

Yes, you can request the handling of your account whenever you choose.

 

Do you offer email address webemail boxes?

Yes, if you do not have an online service or a website we can provide you with a personal email address account at a low monthly rate.

 

How much web space is allowed and what size file can I send and receive?

Depending on the package, but as little as 5MB and 50MB email space and between 1 and 10 GB send and receive.

 

Do to the high stake of fraud many companies, firms and organizations reject hotmail and yahoo etc as valid email address for doing business, is your email address considered to be valid?

Any email that we register will be registered under our banner and company name as a valid email address, a valid email address is one that is easily traceable to the source using it.  You will attend in person our studio where you will register under our name by providing us valid information which will be stored in our databank for future reference.  Your email address will read yourname@ourcompny.com for example youname@p21pro.com etc.

15. PHOTO ID CARDS

 

Can I book photo ID sessions at my location and what is the fee?

There are two options: a studio session which is without additional charge and location session which is an hourly rate, the rate varies.

 

What do I need to get started?

Please supply us the details for the layout and data that will identify each individual, name, position, employee number, expiration or issue date, NIB or social security number, employee signature and the authorization signature, etc. Once the layout is produce the proof is available for viewing correction or a maximum of one change. One the correction or changes have been made the layout will be ready for the ID photo session within hours.

 

What type of materials ID cards do you issue?

We issue at the moment PVC and laminated cards.

 

When do I receive the photo ID card?

The photo ID card is ready within 10 minutes or within 7 working days depending on the traffic and the arrangement.

 

Do you keep a file?

Yes, all files are stored in our databank and backed up for future use.

 

How do I get a copy if I lose my ID card and do you bill my office?

Yes copies or duplication of the photo ID card is always available each copy is paid for either in advance or at the time it is issued.

 

What are PVC cards?

Commonly referred to as plastic cards (polymers vinyl cards).

 

What are security access cards?

Cards that give access to restricted areas, including machines or computers.

16. PASSPORT & VISA PHOTOS

 

Do you do color, black and white passport photos?

Yes, we offer both color and black and white passport photos on quality photo paper, printed while you wait.

 

Do you make photo size US immigration?

Yes, we provide prints of all sizes, including those required by the US embassy and immigration.

 

How long does it take?

Printing of passport photos usually takes 5 to 15 minutes.

 

Can I use these photos for job applications?

Yes, these photos can be used in job applications, visa forms, passports, etc.

 

Do you keep my photo in file?

Yes, we keep all the photos we print in our files so you can always come back and get copies. The photos will stay in file unless there is a system crash before the files are backed up.

17. GRAPHIC DESIGNS

 

Do you do photo restoration?

Yes, we use the highest class digital equipment and employ the top graphic artists to make our photo restoration service truly amazing.

 

How do you charge for this?

For photo restoration we charge by the hour for restoration work and also for scanning and for the print. For detailed prices, click here.

 

What size photo is preferred for scanning?

We can scan almost any size but photos that are 8x10 or smaller are scanned faster and for a lower rate. 

 

Can you make a color photo from black and white print?

 

Can you make black and white from color?

Yes, we can use both grayscale and sepia toning effects to give your photos that stylish old look.

 

What is gray scale?

Grayscale is what is commonly referred to a black and white.

 

What size photo do I get in the restoration package?

Any size print is available. However, to ensure detail, we do not recommend for the restored print to be much larger then the original.

 

Can I get copies later?

Yes, re-prints are available for 6 months after the   

 

Do you design advertisement material?

Yes, we have experiences in advertising with both Bahamian and international companies. We design and print advertisement material of all sizes. 

 

Do you create and design custom logos and other designs?

Yes, our graphic artists are the best in their field and will design wonderful artistic logos, borders and other designs for you,

 

Do you create posters, fliers and other advertising materials?

 

Do you design business cards?

Yes, we design and print business cards. You may pick up your cards 24 hours after he order is placed.

 

Do you design resumes and how do I supply the information?

Yes, you can submit the information to us by email, handprint in legible handwriting or typed.

 

Do you create materials for presentations?

Yes, this service is provided by our advertising and promotions department.

 18. PRINTING

 

What kind of printing do you do?

We produce material for photographic paper and plain paper or copy paper 20lbs stock.

 

 

What size prints do you make?

We produce from 11/2 x 2 inches to 14 x 20 within a week all other size above this are custom size and can take as many as six weeks.

 

Do you print resumes, presentation material, business cards, brochures and posters?

Yes we print a variety of all these products.

19. BROADCASTING

 

Do you produce commercials for radio and television?

Yes

 

Do you produce scripts for radio and television?

Do you have persons for acting or voice over?

Yes, we are affiliated with broadcasting announcers and one can be provided for you at any time.

 

Do you do lighting, video and audio effects?

Yes, there are many types of audio and lighting effects. Please contact our productions department for rates and information.

 

Do you offer video editing service?

What is your policy for video editing?

Our policies require that material provided to us meets the standards and requirements for NTSC system editing. Once the material is edited, it is available for correction and changes after which it is processed for final production.

20. AERIALS

 

Do you have an aircraft or do I provide an aircraft?

No, we do not own an aircraft can be provided at your expense or you can also provide an aircraft.

 

Do you require extra insurance?

It is preferred that all vessels that our employees and production crew board meet the standards of BAA & FAA security regulations.

 

Do you require extra flight gear to record from the open window or door of the aircraft?

Yes, safety is always our primary goal and there could never be too much safety gear.

 

Do you prefer helicopter or a fix wing jet or prop to record?

The choice of aircraft depends on the type and nature of the assignment.

 

Do you prefer day or night recording?

The choice of timing depends on the type and nature of the assignment.

 

 

21. PRINT RELEASE

 

What is the Certificate of Ownership or Print Release and why do I need it?

The certificates of ownership is optional and not apart of any package on our list it is an electronic document copied to CD or DVD media (it can also be forwarded by email or via Dropbox

You may print and share your personal images - photographs and video as you choose and that you are under no restriction by this studio as to what you do with your images and are under no obligation to purchase anything additional.  The certificate of ownership is provided to you if required (such as by commercial institutions).

Please note that commercial institutions might/recognizes the international copyright laws and that the images produced by this studio that is provided to be printed is recognized as copyright material of the author - Picture21Studio.com.  Such institutions now or in the future might request this document to be presented for their protection. 

This service is not provided to you by many other professional studios, so unlike many other professional studios we have made this document available and is provided as a separate item for sale, but only sold to you if you request it.
